Ms. Habashy completed her undergraduate studies in 2008 at the University of
Southern California and her graduate studies in 2015 at National University.
Between her undergraduate and graduate school years, she taught in New Orleans,
Louisiana for two years. During that time, she taught 3rd - 5th grade Math, Science,
and Literacy. However, with her tight knit family, she knew she couldn’t be away
too long. She returned to Los Angeles and taught 6th - 8th Grade Math and Technology
at Green Dot Public Schools for five years and Algebra 1 at Opportunities for Learning
for one year. Ms. Habashy is excited to be a founding teacher at EQ4 because she is
passionate about providing all students with a high quality academic experience
that will help prepare them for college. She is also excited to lead the first 5th grade
class in a structured, standards-based technology curriculum that will teach
students 21st century skills for the classroom and beyond. In her free time, Ms.
Habashy enjoys making, baking, and researching everything on Pinterest and
running races that have cool medals.
