Ms. Aguilar is extremely excited to be a part of the Equitas team! Equitas mission aligns perfectly with Ms. Aguilar’s values. She believes every scholar deserves a structured educational environment that prepares them for college and success. She will be joining the team as an Enrichment Support Teacher. Ms. Aguilar graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has been working with students in middle schools and high schools for over a year. Ms. Aguilar worked as a behavioral therapist serving children with special needs and underwent a vigorous training to become a registered behavioral technician. Her passion and dedication to scholars has lead her to pursue a career in teaching in order to further assist scholars in graduating from four-year universities and giving scholars the necessary tools they need to succeed within our community. On her free time, Ms. Aguilar enjoys reading, traveling, karaoke, and spending time with family and friends!
