Mr. Herrera is the 5th grade math teacher at EQ4 and is very grateful to be a part of the Equitas team for the third year.  He was born and raised in Southern California and graduated from the University of Southern California.  

 

Mr. Herrera aspires to foster a classroom community that is friendly, warm, and welcoming and strives towards cultivating a positive classroom environment in which scholars feel a sense of belonging.  

 

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Herrera loves spending quality time with his son and dog, listening to music, and being active by getting involved in activities like hiking.
